Aside from this paper, in the section of Energy Development and Power Generation, wind and DFIG continue to be focus topics. Two papers are directly related to DFIG's low voltage ride through analysis and capability. The one related to analysis gives closed-form analysis on machines' rotor/stator flux expression during transients. Papers with similar topics have presented before. Unique contribution will be grasped by the readers after a thorough reading.
One paper is on wind power plant harmonics probability distribution based on measurements. The authors are from Spain and the data is from a real system. It is a common knowledge now that the wind speed is of Weibull/Releigh/etc distribution. The contribution of this paper is to express the pdf of harmonic current mag/phase.
Another topic of the Energy Development section is hybrid systems. The examples are a wind-diesel hybrid system, a fuel cell/Electrolyzer/Ultracapacitor hybrid system, and a fuel-cell/energy storage system. The focus of the papers are usually on dynamic performance with one paper extending to performance under unbalanced conditions.
